"THE LOCATOR"

O MY....If you haven't seen it, please, tune in, set your Tivo, DVR whatever, to catch the next episode. Troy Dunn is "The Locator". Twenty years ago his mother asked him to find her biological parents and since them he has reunited thousands. This is an amazing show, and of course it strikes a nerve with me being an adoptive mother. Yes, on Saturday night for the past two weeks, I have went to bed with my eyes swelled from watching him reunite mothers with the children they gave up, sisters with brothers they have never met, and so on. "You cant find peace until you find all the pieces", that's what he says in the opening of the show. What a blessing it must be for all the families that are reunited, I think long and hard about this because I'm not sure it will ever be an option for us. I think of Sissy's birth mom very often. I cannot even fathom what she went through. I cant imagine what my Pop will go through when she's old enough to realize she is adopted. I just pray for her peace of mind and to never doubt how much she is truly, madly and deeply love by both us and her BP.

Thank you for the very kind words about our show. It is a work of love for us and I am so grateful that you share that love with others by urging them to watch.
On a more personal level, may I say how grateful I am for people like you and your husband who give children like "Bubby" and Sissy" a home, a life, a family. May God continue to bless you and your family for your willingness to open your heart, your home and your life... adoption is a two way miracle that provides joy and love to all sides. Thank you for making the sacrifices to adopt. You are wonderful role models.
I wish you and your husband all the best life has to offer.
