Hiking in the woods

About a month ago, we took the kiddos for a hike with us in the woods. It was quiet fun!! Although little princess kept saying "are we there yet?", "I'm scared of snakes!", "where's the playground Mommy" and "what are we doing in the forest?"

My little guy turns 2!!!!

We can't believe it's been 2 years since my precious baby boy was born via c-section!! I had never seen Shaun that nervous before!! and look at him now 2 years later with that bundle of joy!! I thank God everyday for him. He has really blessed us with two beautiful children!! Life is so GOOD!!

HE'S BACK!!!

I just had to post really quick about one of the best shows on TV, I know yall have read my post about it before, but, Troy Dunn, The Locator is back making wishes and dreams come true for another season and I couldnt be more excited. I absolutely love this show, but don't forget the tissue when you tune in Saturday nights (I think , thats when the premiere was), its so touching and it's usually happy tears when you witness people being reunited that have been seperated for what ever reasons. Long time no see!!

I cant believe it has been 2 months since I have posted. Been side tracked and busy with the children, photography, work, sickness, out of town company, Oh and did I mention FACEBOOK? I wish I had never started that. It can be addicting if you let it. Anyway, I will have to do alot of back tracking to update. My Dad (Papaw) spent the night with us Christmas Eve, it was so special, we were so glad to have him there. He only lives about 15 minutes from us but we wanted him to stay the night, so he did. My kids are tight with their Papaw, they love him so much. He spends a lot of time at our house and we are so glad, we love having him. We were up until midnight putting together toys and Papaw took on the task of putting together the train table that Gigi sent. Gigi is Shaun's Mother, she lives in North Carolina and sent the kids tons of gifts for Christmas. THANKS GIGI, we love you!! The train set stayed together a whole 30 minutes! All that work! O well, that's what its all about,right?

Bryan Adams at the Ryman

WOW!! Shaun and I shared a much needed night alone Sunday night. My Mom was kind enough to spend the night with us and sit with our children while we traveled to Nashville TN (only 1 1/2 hours from our home) Sunday night. I LOVE Nashville, and we go there often, but this time was to see Bryan Adams in concert at the historic Ryman in downtown Nashville

The show was AMAZING!! It was an all acoustic performance with an occasion piano. Major 80's flashbacks. He was very interactive with the audience. He had a great sense of humor and played tons of those awesome love songs we all know and love. The neat thing was, he spotted Martina McBride in the audience and asked to come on stage and sing a song that he originally done with Tina Turner. She was as shocked as we were. It was so fun!! We left at 12pm on Sunday, done some major shopping at the Opry Mills Mall, ate, saw a concert and still made it home by midnight!(we are not ready to stay the night away from our kids yet, and probably will never be :)

Christmas Day at the Gray's

This is Shaun's bunch, we go to Huntsville on Christmas day and its always a blast. These people have the best sense of humor, I am always in stitches laughing, I love them to death. We did miss Shaun's Mother, sister, niece and brother terribly, they live in North Carolina and didn't make it here for Christmas, but I know we will see them soon. Thanks for all the great gifts GiGi!!

Christmas Eve at the Dalton's

Our Christmas plans got changed last minute due to my youngest sister's Father had a heart attack and was in the hospital in Huntsville awaiting surgery for quadruple bypass, and my Mom was with her for moral support. We usually have Christmas Eve at my Moms in our pajamas, but made the best of it at my house, we got a little silly with the camera and tripod as you will see, it was tons of fun, but we did miss my sister Teresa and her four children and my Mother.
