"GOTCHA DAY" 2nd anniversary!
WOW! Where has the time gone? Thursday was our 2 year anniversary with our Poppy Bo. Two years ago June 5th about 10:30 am, that beautiful glorious baby girl was placed in our arms and hearts forever! She has been such a blessing to us! I am so THANKFUL that God made her with us in mind. She is so perfect. She is so funny, smart, out spoken, compassionate, sweet, loving...I could go on and on. I cant imagine a more perfect daughter. I imagined and dreamed of her for so long but never thought it would be like this. TRUE LOVE, children really are the truest love of all. So today I reminisce about that awesome nerve racking day in China, when we were on that bus headed to the government building to finally meet her. We were so nervous! When we arrived we were about the third family called up. She cried a few minutes and then seemed calm. She definitely did grieve her old life, cried for a few days, but finally settled into her new family and its like she has always been here. What an awesome experience it was, and what some great people we met, some will be friends for life. I think often of all those baby girls and boy that were united with their forever families that day. I also think often of the ones left behind and pray daily that God keep them safe and place them in loving homes soon. Thank You God for our Poppy!

Photo session at the beach!
This was the most awesome Mothers Day gift ever! The photographs we had taken at Fort Morgan were awesome! There were at least 50 proofs and I could post them all but I will save everyone the boredom. We will definitely have a hard time choosing! Anyway, that's how we spent our last evening in Gulf Shores, having our pictures made and eating at King Neptune's, which was a really good little "hole in the wall" seafood restaurant.
