Mercury glass ornaments, love em!
Before Sis became our 1st child, I bought alot of mercury glass Chinese themed ornaments and they are beautiful! Since the children have arrive I started a tradition. Every year I buy a ornament that is significant for something that we done the past year. That way when they grown up and move out on their own ( just thinking about that makes me all teary eyed, I think we'll build a big enough house so they can live with us always) they will have a set of ornaments to take with them. So here are the ones for this year!! Oh, by the way, Kerri, I loved your comment on the last post, It made me giggle out loud, you crack me up :) Make a blog Kerri, it's fun.

Sissy, the ballerina of course
Bubby had a barn yard themed birthday party earlier this year
SNOW!!!!!
I love SNOW!!! We hardly ever get it! Suzie and Doug in Vermont, you guys will find this humorous. This snow, made our county schools be out for a day and delayed some businesses till around noon. Nothing like what you guys are used to huh? Anyway, it was beautiful and Papaw took Sis out in it for a minute or two (that's my jacket she's wearing)

Wedding bells
Major dance party at the reception, they had a great DJ.
Look at the flower girls go
I can't believe I am posting this picture, because as much as I love to take pictures, I hate to have my own made. I am posting to show my two of my beautiful sisters.
nephews

I took snap shots at a wedding on Saturday, my cousins wedding, and Sissy just happen to be a flower girl and my nephew, the ring bearer. Sis did really good at the rehearsal. The day of the wedding her "genius" Daddy decided to sit right on the end of the isle where she would walk right by him. She got about a quarter the way down the isle spotted her Daddy and broke into the loudest screaming cry you have ever heard. Oh well, she did look adorable as always. Otherwise the wedding went great. Great reception at Cypress Lakes Country Club, a big party, lots of fun!

Happy Halloween!!
Every year we have a family tradition on Halloween. We all dress up in costume and when I say all, I mean all of us. I am the oldest of 5 siblings, so we (along with our spouses, boyfriends, girlfriend etc.) and all of our children (9), My Dad ( he is our driver) go to my Mothers to eat treats and just be together. After that we load up in the back of my Dad's truck with blankets and pillows, and head off about a half mile away to the largest neighborhood party you have ever seen! Literally thousands of people go to this one neighborhood where all the houses are decorated, parties are going on, trick or treating like crazy, kids, adults, people of all ages just having a blast. You are guaranteed to see lots of people you know and it's just really a lot of fun!
these pictures are from last year
This is my crazy sister Heather and her crazy husband Shaun, I swear they ain't right!! (little southern slang)
On our way to trick or treat!!
My sister Amanda and I
Anyway!! We didn't get to go this year!! ;(
Six of the cousins were doing other things this year with their other family members. Dang it! Well, we did manage to have fun anyway. We, and my sister Heather took our children to our local mall, where there were also lots of cute little kiddos in costume and they got enough candy to last until next year. Here are some shots of Sis, and bubby after we returned home, because I forgot to take along my camera.
Dorothy and Toto ( it's the closet Toto I could find, we joked that it was a Chinese Toto.)
