Just returned from North Carolina and Gatlinburg, this is a cute picture of Piers hanging out in the room.

This is Piers's most prized possession, we named him "Mr. Bear", but turns out he's not a bear at all. He's a lamb! O well, guess we will pay more attention next time.

Pumpkin carving time!!

Poppy's 1st trip to the pumpkin farm was so cute. She wasnt sure what to do with the pumpkins. I think she thought that they were small orange animals, because she reached down and started petting one, it was too funny.

My BIG BOY

Piers went to the Dr. on Monday for his 6mths check up-19lbs 11 ounces and 29 inches long! Just 4 inches shorter than Poppy!

"Heaven"

A couple of years ago, I was watching a tv special "A home for the holidays". Jamie Foxx was hosting and it was about children up for adoption needing loving homes. I belive it is featured every year around Thanksgiving, it will touch your life. During this show Jamie Foxx (who is adopted) performed this song "Heaven" and chills came over me. Its about an angel that came down from heaven to give a family the child that they have always wanted. Thank You GOD for blessing twice!! (click on the song top left)

Poppy and Pia

So, For the past year everyone has been asking me "when will you update your website?"www.babyhomepages.net/ourstoryofyou So, I have decided that I want to leave it as is, its so special to us, I just dont want to add to it. To update everyone on the new loves of our lives, this is our new blog.Also, since the children have come along, I have ungraved an old hobby and passion, PHOTOGRAPHY. So along with the blog, I will be posting some of the pics of the children, that I have so much fun taking.

As you all know, my beautiful daughter Poppy Clair turned 2 August 18th 2007.I cant believe that my little angel from above has been with us for 15 months. She is such a delight. She is so smart and beautiful and is a great big sissy to her new baby brother Pia..(thats what she calls Piers). Piers just turned 5mths old and has two teeth and is rolling over. He is so precious, laid back and a very happy sweet baby!

We have been so blessed to know what it is like to become parents both ways. We love our children with all of our hearts! Hope you enjoy our pictures!!
